Holiday blends

by LavenderPekoe » Sep 12th, '05, 10:04

When I got on Adagio from a different computer I clicked on the link for the free pumpkin spice for first time orders. I then noticed that there were other "holiday" teas that look quite interesting, but there is no way to get to them unless you are signed out (if you have ordered before). Also, the holiday sampler has a tea called autumn blend, but there isn't an autumn blend tea to be ordered separately, and therefore no description. It sounded interesting, but I don't know what it is. :)

Oh, and when is the candy cane coming back? That one looks really good to me.

Whether or not you're logged in, do a search for "holiday sampler" and click on the first link returned. You can purchase the sampler for $11.00 (which I just did). It gives you autumn blend, candy apple, chestnut, cranberry, gingerbread, and pumpkin spice. Also, if you look at the left side bar, you'll find candy cane.

So yay :) I didn't know the sampler was being offered because I'm always logged in when I look at the site - I can't wait to try the gingerbread!

The list for Holiday Sampler says:
autumn blend, candy apple, chestnut, cranberry, gingerbread & pumpkin spice
but on the sidebar it lists:
candy apple
candy cane
chestnut
cranberry
gingerbread
pumpkin spice
Just curious as to which is correct?

:D

robert, actually Candy Apple is there too. It is Candy Apple, then Candy Cane. As far as minty teas go, I am liking them more and more. I just wish I knew what Autumn blend is.

You caught me as I was editing.
Autumn blend is listed in one list but not the other.. it's in place of "candy cane" I guess. Maybe I just order it and find out, but autumn blend is more appealing, at least on the surface!

Thanks for the post.

The Autumn blend is premium black tea from Sri Lanka flavored with sour cranberries, sweet raspberries and fragrant overtones of autumn flowers. This seasonal treat is remarkably reminiscent of a crisp, fall day-- and now the perfect time to enjoy a cup!

This is only available for a limited time in the holiday sampler, as we only were able to produce a small quantity!

Hope this helps,

Chris

Sure does, Chris, thanks. :D

So which list above is right? I'm guessing the first one, but still unsure as to whether candy apple or candy cane is part of the sampler.

Thanks, now get back to the messenger ...

edit: maybe I just order them individually.

I dont' know if the "Valentines Tea" is thought of as a Holiday blend, but I ordered some for my mom and when I was over at her house I had some - and WOW! It was great! :)

All I can say to Adagio is, "Keep this one in stock, I will buy more and often!" :!: :!: :!:

Considering I just ordered some, in September, I think it's always available. It's also not listed as one of those holiday teas which is another good sign that it's not a limited holiday-only production. I think they just decided to give it a holiday name that was appropriate for the flavors in the tea. There's a Christmas one listed with the flavored teas, too, and I expect it's in the same situation as the Valentine's one.

Why aren't the holliday teas available in the 4 oz size? :(
