Hi All!
Quick one tonight!
Don't suppose there are any other Aussies like me out there looking for the perfect water for their tea?
I have a jug filter but my town water here just isn't cutting it.. And most bottled water I have tried so far (even mt franklins) just seems flat and dull..
All the recommended brands such as Volvic arent available here so can anyone help me out with some brands/sources/suggestions?
Cheers
Hannah
PS, Happy holidays to all!!

Actually there are at least a couple Aussies among us, however I have not seen them lately. The one recently got married ... 'nough said.

Re: Water in Australia
Iceland Spring if you're looking for bottled water.
For my money, simple filtered tap water works fine for daily drinking, and beats the pants off of water straight out of the tap. Bottled water I think is best reserved for special occasions/teas.

Hannah,
I use this system:

Tap water is improved by filtering it and it has a noticeable effect when brewing it. Alternatively you could collect water from mountain streams (if you happen to have any in your area) from time to time.
Best of luck.

Re: Water in Australia
Thanks for the suggestions guys!! Been using filtered water and it's given me the best results!
That said, I think I've found the holy grail for bottled water for expensive teas (wouldnt bother buying it for everyday drinking) it's definately been the best in all the ones I've tested, but its all about opinion too I suppose!
Galvanina Italian Still Water (glass bottle)
You can grab it from coles in Aus if anyone else is interested!
