I'm waiting for shincha too....entirely out of shincha, but too much other green tea needing to be drunk to order some emergency supplies from the last harvest.

I'm drinking the last of the Mare from the Xell OTTI. It's delicious tea and something I'd order from the 2013 harvest if its available. I would describe it as a refined houjicha. I'd order it now but I've got some Dens tencha-kuki houjicha to enjoy after I drink my way through samples.

Use ponzu sauce if you can find it, way better.

Same here. Those are two of my faves from Ippodo! Currently enjoying a rather large bowl of the Obukucha with my late breakfast.

Today I'm drinking the last of my Gyokuro Tsuru Jirushi from O-Cha. I finally made a New Years resolution that I think I'll succeed with. I want to finish all my 2012 and 2011 green teas before the 2013 harvest. The advantage of also drinking yancha and Puerh is that if I succeed before new tea is available I won't be without tea.

... as long as you have Gyokuro you shall succeed!
Current greens open ... much more quantity than normal for me.
O-Cha:
Yutaka Midori is back on the menu!
Gyuku-Hou ... gearing up for GYOTTI!
Oku Midori Organic
Thes du Japon:
Microferment Sencha
Fuji Sencha
Mystery vendor:
"Mystery Sencha Asamushi Kuritawase"
"Mystery Sencha Fukamushi Asanoka"
Also a Long Jing ... not a fine grade but enjoyable nevertheless
And a Sejak that is just not motivating me to revisit
I have to say, a quite impressive line-up!

More of the Gu Zhu Zi Sun from Norbu. Got the brewing parameters better than usual this afternoon, sweet and floral and vegetal, so nice. Lately I've been overpacking the early infusions for an excess of peas over flowers; today the balance is better. So nice in my shiboridashi and beautiful wide cup from Greenwood Studios.

finished matcha from yukki and started mecha (Shiga prefecture). I like the last one but missing matcha a lot.
btw anybody knows "Uji no Sato" from maiko? is it really "nevertheless a good choice for tea ceremony practice" (7$!)?

A later than normal session of Shincha Sencha for me.
Might order this again next year, I do really need to try Maiko's Gyokuro from what everyone says about it. So another Maiko order is definitely in my future.
