1/10/12 What would you be?
Welcome everyone to TeaDay!!!
Today's TeaPoll question may be philosophical, but it can be simply fun if you choose. If you were a tea, what type would it be? We are not asking what is your favorite, but what would you BE. So, share with everyone today on TeaDay. I am looking forward to your reasoning on why you would be 'the tea' you chose for yourself!
Have a Great TeaDay and Bottoms up!

I would be a puerh. Specifically a young sheng. Like a young sheng I am young (18) and will no doubt mature and continue to develop character as I age. Like a puerh my environment will influence how I develop as a person yet I will still be uniquely me.
It would be interesting to see this question asked again in a few years time to see if/how people's answers change.

I would be a darjeeling. I don't have a rationale, so don't ask me why.
I would still drink mostly oolong and greens though.

I'm voting myself as a puerh: a work in progress, getting better with age, and with many different layers.
I'm sipping some 2011 Tie Luo Han from Norbu while answering, enjoying it from a new cup from Petr Novak and brewed in a tiny perfect pot. Photos taken, will be processing and uploading soon!

after reading some of the responses i can totally understand why someone woud elect to be pu-erh. its nice and it makes sense.
but the inner 8 year old in me cant help but chuckle to think of someone electing the pu as their self identifying tea.
for whatever reason ive always associated it with bowel movements...something i heard that pu-erh was particularly good for many years ago and still have not managed to forget.
