Hello from a Brazilian!
Make that Brazilian-Hungarian-English, but whatever...
I've been a tea drinker for a while now, but I started getting serious (fanatical
) about it last year. I enjoy everything; Oolong, black, etc. You name it, I'll drink it. I also have a great liking for rooibos and especially for maté (I get the good, traditional stuff whenever I'm traveling in Argentina or Paraguay!).
Anyways, I was thrilled when I found this site, so I look forward to reading and contributing!

Welcome, I also lived in Brazil & Argentina, now in California. I still enjoy Mate & sometimes Paul dArco. Which are your favorite brands of Mate? Some are easy to get around here.

Well nowadays it's easiest to get Guayaki brand from my local supermarket (I currently live in New England), but in the past I've gotten it from mostly local places, like bonapartian; but I'm not entirely committed to one brand.
(and thanks for the welcomes!)

Welcome, we used to have a few regulars that enjoyed Mate and similar "teas", but I haven't seen much discussion about those teas lately. Maybe you can be the "resident" expert so to speak if more questions come up again.
