Hello from Boulder, CO

by cold_tea » Jan 28th, '13, 12:18

Hello all,
I am interested in getting into Japanese green teas as something to drink at work and home after my morning cup of coffee.

Very involved in coffee brewing; vacuum pots, home roasting, single origin beans, and want to take some of that patience and knowledge to the world of tea!

Have you been to Happy Lucky's in Fort Collins? I realize it's an hour away.... They have an impressive level of know-how for a "neighborhood tea shop," especially one run by white people.

Happy Lucky's isn't bad. I think Ku Cha in Boulder is a little better, if overpriced. It's run by a Taiwanese couple.

Welcome! Colorado is a wonderful place, sadly I haven't been there in quite a few years.
