Well, when I started the collection people have asked about selling those selected pieces...So I said yes, anyone who is interested can "book" any piece which is still free by sendning me an email. Then it is about waiting...from first Gem it took eight months. To make it more organized I label all booked pieces by "reserved" here https://picasaweb.google.com/1182362173 ... Although I purchased these snakeskins quite some time ago, I wanted to share today.

Petr custom made the kyusu based upon an exchange of thoughts which I really appreciated! The results ... a smoother-textured, honey-colored kyusu.
I also really like Petr's bulbous handles that feel very natural in the palm of my hand. Often I notice a "jabbing" with many kyusu, but Petr's never always feel like an extension of my arm, hand, palm.

Thank you Chip! As I can see you, you are using it Japanese green, aren't you? How the sieve works? Sometime I am not sure if my sieve are good enough for those...
And yet another Kyusu. one Czech-Bizen style

I am using it for asamushi ... with a little care in pouring. I do not think fukamushi would fare as well. But for asa it works pretty well.

Dear TeaChatter, I hope you enjoy your after Christmas day in peace.
Few days back, I have updated my available album. So If you are interested, please take a look...https://picasaweb.google.com/1182362173 ... ailableNow
And belive me, this is not flying teapot in new StarTrack movie, it is just ordinary tea set on black background with snowflakes on it...

Beautiful simplicity, Petr!
Been wanting to break out this shib set ... but lacked Gyokuro to pull it off. Dark Brown Snakeskin Shiboridashi and cup with a smoother texture than some of Petr's snakeskin pieces. It worked great for 2 ounce (60 ml) steeps of Gyokuro. This is a flatter shib.

5 steeps in, the leaves fill the shib ...

I really love the black Magda glaze on these new teapots--it's matte and not glossy, but it has both silvery and warm bronze cast at the same time, and an interesting texture

Nice ball filter inside the kyusu

This little nuka cup has lovely drippies

and so does this little wood-fired cup with white-glazed interior

and this nice shibo partnered with the drippy cup is as functional as it is cute

Dear Debunix, big thanks for sharing. Nice pictures, nice descriptions. I hope they will find their way to your tea time and make you happy there. Message from MIrka: Tea tables are already in process.
And now, real Ice Tea- tea on frozen pond.

It feels chilly here in Los Angeles, but the only things frozen are the tops of our nearby mountains. In my snug warm house I've already had some nice sessions with each of these teawares, and the small unglazed shibo is doing very well with a complex sheng puerh. So glad to hear about the tea tables--my bamboo trays are having some issues with splitting and leaking, and a new tea center is being delivered in bits and pieces over the next few weeks, so they'll have a place to go when they arrive.
