Cold and snowy here in Central New York. Powering up with some Matcha and Vitamin C in Hagi. Good for chasing away colds and the winter blues

dark and brooding a thick layer of mysterious clouds blew in from the sea, a wet wind brought forth a tiding from the far away isles of hawaii...

Beautiful bowls!
Some of the Hagi ware that has these funny patterns in the glaze makes me feel so hungry, cos it looks like a thickly frosted sweetbread or doughnut!

Tim had asked for pics of this chawan with warm water. I hope this is what he meant:

So gorgeous--Cory's work is always so stunning, his celadon pieces especially! What a nice arrival.

There is a great documentary that you might be interested to watch.
Search in youtube for "Forbidden Kyoto - The Depth of Green Tea" by channel 'JapanDocumentary'. I guarantee it's a joy to watch if you love Japanese chado and matchawans
Makes me wonder if Mr. Richard Milgrim is a member here on TeaChat...
