might be nice to have an occasional otti where one, or maybe two, large samples replace the 5 or 6 small ones. There's a lot to be said for getting to know a particular tea, but I can't be bothered saying it.

The responses seem to come fast and fleeting for the multi offerings

Not only would oneself get to explore the said tea in a variety of ways or even just nuances, but the received feedback would be more illuminating.

Thanks! Interestingly, previously I think everyone who responded said small samples of 5 related teas.

I've never participated in a tea tasting before. But, it sounds like a rewarding experience. How do I sign up?

I'd have to say that for me personally, one or two cups isn't enough for me to really "get to know" a tea. 3-4 servings is probably my sweet spot, so I would suggest a slightly smaller flight (3-4 teas) in slightly larger quantities (10-20g). I think that'd provide a decent range of a certain type of tea, and also give you more time to get intimate with each one

I agree about needing to tase more tea than just one or two "cups" --demonnyc has the same idea I do.

That said I'm new to this and still trying to figure out how to sign up.

Yes, and there is a gyokuro tasting going on now. I'm still just getting started with this one.
