The trouble is if I buy one in America how will I know that it isn't a cheap Appalachian knock-off? :?

My trained tea can eye can help you!! :P bahaha

and yeah, this is how I grew up having my tea with grandpa lol except our can was iron instead of tin/aluminium (aluminium would be dangerous I reckon.. maybe thats why some of us talk so slow :lol: )

Not something I miss :p although it DID give the tea a nice smokeyness... :D

You can tell if it is Appalachian in origin ... just look for the telltale "chew" stains. :twisted:

That 'kelly kettle' thing is also great. Imagine you're camping in Alaska or Norway and want to have a cuppa... :D
