Enhance the flavour is not what I would say either. The tea comes out deeper, not more fragrant nor richer in flavours. Just deeper. As Alex said, it is like putting a record on a good setero as opposed to listening to a mp3 on an iPod.

I'm going to use it with sencha only . It's a 180 ml dixit Akira.

Love these pots (especially the reduction-fired)! Of all of my kyusus, only my antique Tokoname brews a better cup of sencha. Mine is ~ 100ml, and is my go-to pot for asamushi and gyo.
