When I first started drinking puerh tea I bought a too-big pot from tealux. I have since given it to my cousin, who uses it for white tea with good success:

While shopping ebay I thought I recognized it:

The mark on the botton is even the same, but it's been paired with some cups and a tea cushion from another set.
The mutilation of a tealux pot is annoying, but I'm really sad to see an otherwise fascinating "peach winepot" (a kind of pot with no lid) treated in the same way:

How do you get the leaves into that winepot if there's no lid? More importantly, how do you get them out?

My understanding is it is only to be used for hot water and wine... not to brew tea... but I learned all I know from the internets.
I just want to play with one to be honest.

No, I got a lifetime's worth of snow living in Cleveland and Rochester, NY. That's why I live in San Diego now! Do you know of any good teashops in Cleveland? I might have to go back at some point this year.

Yes, Mad Monk in Ocean Beach is a great place! Taylor is the young guy who runs it and he's always pouring tea for anyone who walks in the door. He carries mostly Pu-erh and Taiwanese oolongs. It's a tiny shop but a fun place.
Leaf and Kettle is in Del MAr and is a more upscale shop, but they do paid tastings and have lots of good teas which I'm just starting to explore.
I would be honored to share some tea with you Marshal, either at my home or at Mad Monk Tea. I'm a gong fu novice, but your blog has been instrumental in my education.
