ethan offers cigars; wants tea

by ethan » Apr 8th, '13, 21:09

I was a serious about cigars. I studied which cigars should be aged & at what humidity etc. I went to festivals. I visited manufacturers. I sold cigar accessories in Asia. I rented lockers at Atlantic Cigar & Cigar International to age cigars at constant temperature & humidity.

Long story - short, I have cigars to trade that have reached their peak:
They were bought at low prices which I list here to show a value to compute swaps. I don't want cash; I want tea.

All of these have been aged for > 4 years.
Ruination: Cigar International's pride. Regular retail is $160 for a box of 20. I got them for $4 each. But the greatest thing is that an already great cigar gets fantastic. This belicosa size is one of Puff.com's highest-rated cigars. (that's a forum w/ thousands of participants) 38 available
I think you know these:
Diamond Crown Maximus, churchill #2 (6.5x50). 16 available $11
El Rey del Mundo, robusta suprema (7x54) natural wrapper. Fantastic, classic cigar. 12 available $4.25
El Rey del Mundo (7.5x48) maduro. 12 available $4.25
Padron Executive (7.5x50). 9 available $6
Perdomo Champagne Reserve churchill (7x54). 9 available $6

Many others available in small quantities.

?s gladly answered in PMs.

Asking publicly in case anyone else has the same questions.

Do you have the boxes for the ruination's still?

Do you have any smaller sizes - to give you an idea my fav is the short story or the pardon '64 principe.

Also - what kind of teas do you like?

tenuki, I don't have the boxes for the Ruinations (& I don't remember why). I do have other cigar boxes to ship cigars in. (Including the Diamond Crown Maximus box which is a beauty).
I don't have many small-sized cigars. I have several 5-inch long cigars & about a dozen 5 1/2 inches long, but all are fatter than the principes (mostly Robustos).
I can use green tea, oolongs, & 2nd flush Darjeeling.
Padron Executives do come very, very close to the 64s once they have this much age (> 4 years). Once I got age on them, I smoked a lot of Executives & 3000s & never even thought of buying the top Padrons again though they are fantastic cigars. Ruinations are also great & what I often took when having a cigar just after finishing one or after a heavy meal, really full flavor & body.

Update: Cigars still available to swap for tea (or porcelain gaiwans or porcelain teapot w/ unglazed interior):
Diamond Crown Maximus churchill #2 (6 1/2 inch x 52 high-end super-premium);
El Rey del Mundo robusto suprema (7 1/2 inch x 54);
Padron executive (7 1/2 inch x 50).

All the cigars are gone (thankfully).
I do have several humidors of various sizes (holding 20 - 200 cigars) & lots of accessories (from Xicar foldable scissors to cheap guillotine cutters).
The shipping can be fairly costly but I could put some tea inside a humi....
to make it more sensisble.
I won't post all, but if anyone is interested, please let me know.

I'm interested in knowing which ones you have; I have a buddy who's into fine tobacco.
