Yeah, EMS from Japan is the best overseas shipping I've encountered. Too bad it's expensive.

Out of curiosity, how many offerings are we still waiting on to get in from Japan?

Hang on ... working on obtaining up to date info regarding this.

In the last few OTTIs, which shipping option have you used to send out domestic packages? I ask because I found the shipping times quite reasonable. So, if that was Standard, I really don't see any reason to upgrade to priority. Unless you would advise otherwise... :?:

If it was an OTTI, I have shipped it first class parcel which can be almost as fast as Priority. If it was NOTTI, then it was Priority.

Since this is Shincha and it is 12 samples and you are 3000 miles away, it might be worth going Priority. If not now, when?

Packages being shipped from Japan for this round are being shipped EMS, 3-4-5 days from Japan to here. Weeeeeeee ...

Good point, total updated and payment sent.

...looks like all participants have paid but one. So, anyone thinking of getting on the waiting list for Group 2 or 3 can pretty much forget about it.

Group 1 is still available!!!

Just so nobody worries, I received all payments now for orders received prior to today.

Stay thirsty, my friends,
Chip

PS: Still a couple spots open for Group 1.

Regarding our (Tsuen's) Kirameki, please note that we've changed out the brewing parameters on our site. It's still somewhat conservative, however, based on the fact that most newbies tend to over-brew and complain of bitterness. This is not the easiest tea to get "right" so we leave it to you advanced brewers to experiment around with that. Basically, we upped the ratio of leaf to water, and also the brew time. I dropped the temperature somewhat as well.

BTW, all selections are now here. In order to assure maximum freshness, the teas will be opened and packaged in one day ... and shipped that day (or the following morning if it is too late). This should all happen early/mid part of this week.
