If you could only drink four teas for the rest of your life.

For some awful reason you must pick four kinds of tea to live with forever! Rules:

1. This is 4 specific blends or kinds of tea, from a specific years etc. You can't just say "wuyi oolong" you must say which wuyi oolong! (otherwise I'd just say "puerh, oolong, matcha and sencha")
2. You will still be responsible for buying these teas, so if you say "REAL Da Hong Pao"... or whatever that 2013 Dayi they've been ogling over in the puerh forum is called... well, you'll either be broke or not geting to drink it!

So, what will you be drinking?

FOREVER!

As of today (this could change in a month or even a week), I would choose the following:
For Blends, Earl Grey- use this especially for iced tea.
For Oolongs, Ti Guan Yin- I could drink this everyday.
For Green Tea, LongJing or Dong Ding.
For Black Tea, probably a Keemun.

I would hate to miss out on white teas though.

Right now I'd probably say Scottish breakfast tea, lao cha tou pu-erh, light roast Dong Ding, and maybe okumidori sencha. I reckon my sencha choice may change in the not-too-distant future, though, what with the shincha OTTI coming up. And I would sure miss the occasional cup of genmaicha or Yunnan black.

Snapple lemon
Snapple peach
Itoen golden oolong
Hmmm... And a new release called black gold oolong, a bit expense for $6 per bottle.

Lu'An Guapian (I get to buy it fresh every year, right?)
Qimen Mao Feng
Wei Yuede traditional roast Tieguanyin
Cheung Hing Tie Luo Han

A lot of dark fruits taste there, it seems. I wish there were something shengy in the mix, but I can't narrow it down enough, and I've got to stay within budget.

I'd have to have my Lord Bergamot from Steven Smith Teamaker. I love that blend above all other Earl Greys. This is my morning tea.

I've noticed I always keep Bai Mu Dan in stock, from Fuding, though I should branch out and try some more. I drink this when I want something fresh, and the flavor goes with about anything.

I really love Mi Lan Dan Cong (Feng Huang) and find myself craving it often. I just ordered a special pot for it and plan to keep it stocked.

Finally, I really, really love Rou Gui but haven't picked a favorite source yet.

This list will probably change over time, and it sure is hard to narrow it down to four.

Oh wow geez... This is hard..

OK so right now, it'd be:
- Menghai golden needle white lotus shu (2007 atm but hey.. I guess I'd take any year!)
- High fired TGY
- Aged high fired shui xian
- 6 year+ old yiwu sheng

What? Why?! I just started taking tea seriously and now you're precluding me the endless possibilities of this world?
Right now the list would be something like:
- Kan no Shiro Matcha;
- Yame Gyokuro;
- Huang Zhi Hsiang Dan Cong Wulong;
- Twining's Gunpowder, because I need it for making Moroccan mint tea, dammit!
You, sir, are a cruel person.
