I would rather take pre-2007 stuff since I don't think I can drink younger stuff of tu lin.
I recall someone mentioned that to be good too.
Try the 2006 version of that shu brick. But at that price I rather buy minyan one
Btw minyan 2013 bang wai u tried yet? a lot keeps telling me it's good, but mine have not arrived
Even have someone wrote this on the feedback:
出乎意料的好。入口的一刹那,我差不多以为是自己收藏的2012“昌宁红”出品的昌宁古树,那可是特级呀。如老板所言,苦、涩明显,化得很快,茶气足,汤浓。
下面说一下不足:茶碎,不知道沱里面的情况会不会更厉害。
个人觉得超值,绝对超值。从来不补货,这次看来要破例了。

I have two tongs of Tu Lin at home - gifted from someone. Maybe I should open one and see what it tastes like

704 or 702? These 2 seems to be most that people buying in ti/tongs.
IIRC, someone reviewed before that 2009 702 is better than 2012 XG FT chang er yuan cha bing. I ordered 5 pieces from another seller who is selling at 30RMB each. Not sure how good or authentic it is, still waiting to be shipping in my agent's SH warehouse

Maybe it's the 1998 signature first bing
Do share what they are and how well they taste after being aged. I think 704 was out long before, but under another name. The material is better, from what I heard.

This kind of conversation makes me feel old
I don't even think of trying any 2013 tea... I tried a couple of (supposedly good) 2010 sheng earlier this week, enjoyed the first a few infusions of each but soon felt both dizzy and hungry
I do love ming yan hao. If I had the space to store a lot of tea for years, I would buy a lot more of their tea (and other people's tea). But...

It's like that, I don't think I'll be buying 20-30kg of tea monthly after 2 more months. Then it'll start sink in that u have too much, then won't be as keen
Mingyan tea maybe I should stop buying bulks of those cheap laoshu/gaoshu ones and concentrate on their over 100RMB gushu but just buy 2-3 bings at a time.
Later the agent will send the shu bricks, if good I'll stock on that. I can trust their claims of using gushu in that shu.
