Good shops in Hongkong for yixing

by yalokinh » May 23rd, '13, 01:06

I know someone in Hong Kong, and I was wondering what are some reliable shops where I can find good yixing pots and good puer.
Thanks,
Yal

Hi yalokinh,

You might try PMing users MarshalN and jayinhk. I believe both of them live in HK.

I haven't been there in a few years, but you can try the Tea Museum up behind Pacific Place in the park at Admiralty. They used to carry many older Yixing and Chao Zhou pots in the gift shop. It's a great place to go to in any case for their Yixing display and the tea house and restaurant next door is excellent for a nice break from busy Hong Kong.
