new here - and looking forward to learning!
I just found this site and am really excited! I've been looking for a way to learn more about tea. The rest of my family spends tons of time thinking, reading, and talking about (and drinking) wine. I am not a wine drinker, but love tea. I figure I can devote as much time to pondering my favorite drink as they do!
Looking forward to learning!

Welcome! You'll soon find that tea resembles wine in more ways than you would expect. Different regions in which the same type of tea can yield very different varieties. We hope you learn lots on the board, again welcome!

This sounds like me and my boyfriend. He is a serious wine lover, but I really don't care for it much. My true love, is tea.
Ironically, I'm the Jewish one - so you would think I should love wine.

My dad's into wine, and we compare and contrast between wine and tea. We can go at it all day long. IMHO, wine is a lot more boring than tea. Unless you're drinking it, of course.
