2011 Shui Xian from Hou De -

In the beginning the roast and florals were very loud in this tea. Then the roast subsided and the florals dominated.....now they have both abated and the tea has a much better balance. Pretty tasty.

Lishan Huagang from Origintea. Sweet and subtle, a nice tea to revive my long sleeping gaoshan teapot.

Enjoyed a thermos full of MountainTea's medium roast TGY, enjoying it from my Seafoam Yunomi from ginkgo. Very comforting everyday TGY, truly a medium roast between a 'green' and traditional oolong.

That one is really good price/quality wise I think, very smooth, round and sweet though not overly complex. Think I might sip that one friday night after my exams 8)

mystery yancha - I bought a bunch of different decent quality yentchas a few years back and now they are sitting around in large jars with no labels and I have no idea what is in them. :(

Ah well, this one is good. Maybe I'll put a label on it that says 'good'.

It is often rich to read this thread, to mentally sip all the teas T.C. users are drinking. Sometimes the experience comes across vicariously as someone mentions their recent tea experience which starts me thinking on a certain tea.

Today I open a sample tea from Camellia Sinensis, a Dong Ding wulong tea. I sorted six grams from the 12 gram package and poured a very pleasant consistent 8 rounds from the infusion before stopping. The tea is good and customary for a Dong Ding wulong tea, not exceptional, but good. I brewed at 95 deg. in my small Andrzej Bero pot with water filtered from a Shacklee water filter. It was a rich and exceedingly still pour, full of presence and rumination.

Had some 2013 Spring SLX Yang Zi Wang from Origin. Really nice tea –has some more body than most 2013 gaoshan I've had.

Some econ inspired snapshots.
