Me, I have an apartment with a bunch of houseplants. Would I need to get a compost bin or should I just let the used tea dry, grind it up, then sift it into the plant soil for some of them?

Robin,

I'm uncertain what would be the best course of action. We have a large compost bin in our backyard that makes the leaf recycling process rather easy. With an apartment, I don't know what would be best; we have taken wet/used leaves and placed them in some of our larger houseplant pots. They dry out and slowly break down.

Hmm. I'll give that a try then, of just directly applying the leaves to the soil. At least to the ones that prefer their soil a little on the acidic side.
