Going on a tasting marathon since I just went through all the tea in my pumidor.
1. 2011 Spring Lao Ban Zhang Maocha
Absolutely delicious. Spicy, fruity, light bitterness, good kuwei and qi, very thick
2. 2012 Yunnansourcing Wu Liang
Mellowed out a lot. Lighter flavors have gone way down and there is a darker base. Floral flavors replaced by spice. Thin but has a good energy
3. 2011 Yunnan Sourcing Shang Chun
Somewhat thick, active moutfeel. Developing woody flavor, dark hay and tobacco. Kind of tangy. Long strong grassy and woody aftertaste. Flavor seems a little off to me.
4. 2011 EOT Mansai
Thick with active mouthfeel and strong qi. Nice dark, meaty base. Bitterness has gone down
5. 2012 Lao Man'E Ku Cha Maocha
Syrupy thickness, coats the entire mouth. Unrelenting Man'E bitterness at first but transforms into a delicious sweetness at the back of the throat. Many people don't like Man'E but this maocha is one of my favorite puerhs. That's good because I bought the last 500 grams of it
