But here is my question:
Has anyone tried Hibiki-an Gyokuro Superior? If so, what do you think? I have had many Gyokuros in Japan, some of which were exceptional, but I really like this one.

It has been at least 5 years since I had it, but I did not care for this selection at all. It had plenty of flavor but the flavor was not to my liking.

Their Premium selection was "soft" compared to others in similar price points. There was nothing bad about it, but it lacked punch.

if we starting to talk about it then i must say i am very disappointed from ippodo Gyokuro , i tried almost every one up to Rimpo (which is at the same price range) and none did deliver as much as Hibiki-ans Premium Gyokuro , and i am saying this even thou i had a little bad costumer service experience , i found black leaves in ippodo's Rimpo , loved there kuki but you can't compare stems with pure tea leaves.
