No. Both tests were done with rats. The first was done by giving the rats nothing but green tea to drink for six months. The other wasn't done with live rats, but with cultured cells that were bathed in a green tea solution. Not exactly a realistic situation for human tea drinkers. Livestrong is not a medical journal, and the author of the article has a Bachelors degree in health education. I doubt he's an expert in Andrology.

China has the largest population of any country in the world, and they have been drinking green tea for thousands of years. I wouldn't worry about it.

i know it's not the most solid research but because we drink more tea then the average person (also bear) it is still worth looking it to.

A couple substances in tea (and other leaves) are goitrogenic. Something else to note.

Goitrogens are substances that suppress the function of the thyroid gland by interfering with iodine uptake, which can, as a result, cause an enlargement of the thyroid, i.e., a goiter.
New word for me...

There are far better things to worry about :!:

Likely your body would tell you that you have had too much caffeine and shut down the desire to drink tea long before you would reach any ... threshold.
