If i bought a clay storage vessel for a tong, and sealed it with a tong inside, would the tea age well? How would it change in contrast open air storage?

There are a million different opinions on this. Use the search for thing like storage, aging, pumidor, humidor and stuff like that

One Puerh company rep, I think the guy who runs Puerhshop, told me to store Puerh in a paper bag with an open plastic bag over it to allow it to breathe. It might have been Larry at Purepuer.com who told me this advice I am not sure. I do store some of my Puerh in a giant Yixing container I bought from Larry at Purepuer.com. There is a post about it here somewhere with photos, do a search for Giant Yixing Container to see it. It will hold two to three tongs.
