Iced White Tea

by mcrdotcom » Sep 21st, '13, 09:33

After steeping my Bai Hao Yin Zhen a few times I felt that it wasn't worth continuing, so after seeing this on another thread I gave it a go!

Spent tea leaves from 5g dry put into a very large (~350mL) with water, covered with cling film and left all evening, night and morning. Just started sipping on it, and it is absolutely beautiful! It's very weak and delicate but the refreshing hint of white tea without bitterness is so nice! I'll try it with less water next time to enhance the flavour I think. Also, the colour is beautiful!

What other teas are nice cold brewed, perhaps from dry?
