Just came across this Japanese series on the tea horse road. It's all in Japanese with no English subtitles, but still interesting none the less...
This is the first video in a series of 4!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNUPpFcH-Mg
If I am not mistaken, this is part of the Korean/Japanese produced 'Asian Corridor in Heaven' 6 part series. Shot in flawless HD, you feel like you are there breathing the fresh air and taking in the crystal clear views of the Himalayan range of Eastern Tibet/Yunnan/Sichuan. Watched on an HD TV big screen is ideal.
Sounds like KBS-produced Cha Ma Go Do (Cha Ma Gu Dao in Chinese), I saw it, too. There was one episode about Puerh alone (it was 4# or something)..it was kinda sensational when it first came out in Korea and heard it got the Emmy award later..
Just don't know what NHK did with it, many Koreans understood as a pure Korean documentary..most of PDs and narrator (a famous actor) are Koreans
