Wild Pu-erh Sheng 1993 (Red Blossom Tea)

One of the intentionally aged teas, Pu-Erh has a loyal following.

Wild Pu-erh Sheng 1993 (Red Blossom Tea)

I'm wondering if anyone here has ever tried this tea (which unfortuntely seems to have been sold out at Red Blossom Tea).

It is one of my only two sheng pu-erhs from the early 1990s, but it does not taste like pu-erh to me at all. It is by no means a bad tea, but it tastes unmistakably like Liu An tea to me. :?

There are reviews posted at Steepster (unfortunately I can't post urls here yet), but no one seems to share this opinion. I have not tasted really aged Liu An before, so I can't tell if a Liu An from 1993 would taste like this tea. But it does closely resemble the younger Liu An teas I've tried before.

Wondering if anyone more experienced with aged sheng pu could enlighten me...
