Gift for matcha tea lovers?

by bubblemilk » Oct 30th, '13, 02:35

I am planning to get some japanese tea related stuff for my mom. She is interested in drinking green tea recently.

I found this article at: http://vividgiftideas.com/2013/10/24/10 ... ea-lovers/ (please copy and paste to this website)

Do you guys think I should get the Japanese teacup gift set in wooden box or the sakura tea bowl?

Interested in matcha? Get a matcha starter kit. They are extraordinarily easy to find. E.g.:

Your mother won't be able to do much with just a teabowl or a few teacups, anyhow ;)

I agree with Poohblah, if shes just starting with it a starter kit would be perfect. I bought myself an o-cha starter kit shortly after trying matcha for the first time a few years ago and still use the utensils and chawan often :)
