Let's see your bucket list!

by rabbit » Nov 21st, '13, 20:15

This year was the first time I was able to check an item off my bucket list, it was a great feeling and left me wanting to do accomplish more goals! When I first made the list it seemed to be a bit of a depressing thing to do but I've found it's the complete opposite! It really gives you realistic but wonderful things to look forward to! So I'm curious, what's on YOUR bucket list? Mine is below.
  • >(Done!) Frolic in tea somewhere in Asia
    >See killer whales from the shore in Argentina or Patagonia
    >Climb all mountains in the Adirondacks
    >Hike the Metacomet/Monadnoc trail
    >Visit Plitvice Lakes in Croatia
    >See Lascaux & Chauvet caves in France
    >Learn to fly a plane
    >Visit the Wuyi-shan mountains in China
    >Climb to the Huashan teahouse in China
    >Train and run a serious marathon
    >Live in at least 1 country other than the USA
    >Live with less than 200 things (fully become a minimalist)
    >See cherry blossoms in Japan
    >Speak 5 languages fluently
    >Start a fully automated business
    >Catch a tuna (any kind)
    >Work (volunteer) on a tea estate for 1 day

  • Speak Mandarin Chinese with a passable degree of fluency (yeah I know my standards are lower than yours :P )
  • Have a happy and healthy lifelong romantic relationship
  • Use my own two hands and sandbags or earth to build a "hobbit house" that integrates with the landscape around it
  • Own property with a greenhouse or garden and lots of animals such as chickens, goats, etc.
  • Compete in an IFSC World Cup event (this is not likely to happen, but I like to dream)

Revised bucket list:

Find undiscovered particle. THEN peacefully abide.

:D

(When I saw that stock illustration of the apocalyptic vortex my thought was, "That'd be a really interesting chawan glaze effect." I have totally gone off the deep end already, too late.)
