As a long time tea drinker, I don't have one favorite oolong. There is no way I could pick one tea out of all the wonderful teas that exist. I couldn't begin to compare a Taiwan gaoshan with a roasted Wuyi oolong, or a dancong oolong with a Tie Guan Yin.

I'm still exploring as I've only been drinking oolong for a few years. So far my favourite types of oolong are Wuyi (Rou Gui), high mountain and TGY. All but the Wuyi in a Gaiwan; the Wuyi in a yixing. Been buying these from a local vendor in Toronto, though I recently ordered 4 different teas from dragon tea house (shipped).

My favorite is definitely dancong made in my oldest yixing teapot. If that's note available a gaiwan will do.
