Usually oolongs, greener ones in warmer weather and darker ones in cooler weather. A cup of decent Longjing is also great in the morning. Lately I've been drinking some of the black teas from Yunnan Sourcing. They have a bit more oomph in the caffeine department when I need a little extra motivation in the morning.
I'm incredibly slow in the mornings, and I've been trying different things to see what gets me going the best. Still haven't decided. I tend to drink black most often, sometimes mate. Right now, I'm drinking a chocolate black, but it's not my favorite.
I've been thinking about putting together one, as I haven't ordered any of Adagio's teas yet. I had one of the chais at someone else's house, but chai is sometimes a bit too spicy for me in the morning. I'd be happy to hear suggestions of things to try out.
Sencha! I am an early breakfast person, so usually right after. My honey is an English-black-tea-with-milk kind of girl. Always served with sweets. I will often have this with her then sencha afterward.
