Hello everyone,
I'd like to introduce myself to your wonderful forum. I'm a language student from Germany and I've been enjoying Tea since I was 20.
We've got a lovely german tea forum, but like most things in America, teachat is just a litte bit bigger, and of course it's always great to get different input.
So, my preferred kind of tea is phoenix oolong, but I like most other kinds of tea, especially Rock Tea, Pu-Erh and Green Tea.
I'm looking forward to learning with you and to many insightful discussions.
A nice new year's eve to everybody!
Michael

Hello Chip, thank you very much for the warm welcome!
Actually, I like basically everything. But I had some brilliant Lung Chings this year, but absolutely appreciate the very nice products from Japan. I'd say, my favorites are nice-quality but middle-priced Lung Chings and Senchas. The morning wouldn't be the same without them!
Even though, if I have a lot of time and want to drink something really fancy, I use teas which I can infuse really often: Oolongs, and recently PUs. On these I spend a lot more.
But I could do great just with the greens from Japan... there's so much to discover!

Willkommen! Wie geht es Ihnen? (And most stuff beyond that is quite rusty, something tells me I may have even messed that up.)
We have people from all over the globe on Teachat, and I think the forum is all the better for it. Sit down, pour some tea, and just start joining in on the conversations.
