I didn't know your jing was that long, but I'm happy you got to share it with someone.Chip wrote:I was able to share my Long Jing with someone. I usually brew 200 ml for just myself for each steep. It was interesting only having 100 ml per steep for myself.
I usually do solo 6 oz brews of green (just a little less than 200 ml) whether it be Japanese (kyusu) or Chinese (infuser basket). Did you use the same size cup for this sharing or did you find two half-sized cups?

Wow, reading this is really amazing...so many incredible teas in everyone TeaMenu.
Warden, how is that TPHK? It is over a year since I had that one. In a gaiwan, that must be really nice.
Jeez, JT...wow...
I could go down everyone's list...just a great TeaDay.
Sal, I use white Japanese 90 ML cups. So, it worked out well actually. The experience has shown me that I need to go to 180 ml so each pour would be 2 90 ml cups.

Two questions immediately come to my mind.Warden wrote:tai ping hou kui (DTH) from a gaiwan.
- 1) How does the DTH Hou Kui stack up compared to the TeaSpring (assuming you've had it with its leaves that look like 2 to 3 inch green beans flattened by a steam roller).
2) What are the details of your procedure for drinking right from the gaiwan?
