Some viruses, like the herpes/chickenpox family, remain in hiding for a lifetime, popping out with a nasty bit of rash at moments of stress or other weakness......

Exactly like TAD. We might need a support group. "Hi I am Adam and I have the TAD-pox, and it is flaring up right now, so please hide all my cards, and change my paypal password for my own good. "

Just made the usual first-thing-in-the-morning rounds of my usual enabling suppliers, and there is nothing fresh and new that has bowled me over. TAD is quiet for another few hours.....

debunix, I might have to interrupt you TAD reprieve soon. I just unloaded a kiln load of some new and really different (for me) work. I'll write a more detailed post in the Artisans area after I take some proper pictures. Here's a hint pic :D

I've had TAD for years. It has progressed though. This month I've bought 3 Yixing teapots, 2 Yixing Gaiwan, Yixing mini cups, porcelain gaiwan [which I love], a set of tools, a tea scoop, and tea scale. That doesn't count the teas! HELP

I absolutely have TAD! I look at new teawares, abiet not high end stuff like you guys, constantly! I think my next purchase is going to be a 120-140 cc celadon teapot. I love the flavor i get from ceramic so i think a "fancy" celadon pot will be a nice fit... then i want some celadon crackware tea cups.... then I want a tea table... then i want, wait... I got on a tangent there. Oh wait, I just realized I ordered a cha hai and stainless strainer last night.

This is pretty sad/awesome(?) considering I just purchased a Kyusu, two cups and a tea caddy from Bill(spitfire pottery)...

Look at gorgeous, expensive Teaware every time you're tempted to buy a lesser piece, and thus be armored against the siren call of the cheaper wares; or, look at gorgeous, expensive Teaware after looking at lesser pieces, realize you're saving money by buying even three much cheaper pieces, and this decrease the guilt?
