Im a big fan of your teaware and I already bought some cups and a teapot designed by you at Caj Chai (Barcelona)
I saw that you came once to give a pottery lesson but unfortunately for me I worked that day so i couldnt come by to see your magnificent masterclass.
Are you planning on coming again to barcelona? :D
Hi Izcariel, the time in Caj Chai was great and we would like to make it again. And our dear friend Antoino (owner), nice Catalan people, great food, wether- it all call us back. But not real plans yet...

New, custom ordered Mikra's teaboat...43*33cm, quite challenging!

Just wanted to share a badly overdue picture of my newest Petr pot, plus teaboat ... both have rapidly become favorites, and the pot has really changed color since I received it!

More pictures up in the teaware showoff thread of Petr's gorgeous work!

Wow! Some new pots came up in Darjeeling and they were snapped up in split seconds. I was hammering the "Add to Cart Button" like mad for the nuka pot ( http://www.darjeeling.cz/en/accessories ... uka-pn-316) but it was gone...a sad day indeed...
Petr, have you got one similar pot to under your closet for sale? :D

Ha..yes to us both, karass indeed. I appreciated the bowl and sat transfixed upon it for some time but knew, I now know rightly, it was not mine. Though I felt her pull, lovely and tempting, I also left the yunomi's bright beauty for some other enamored guest and instead chose to journey with the simplicity and zen austerity of the old hermit "Ryokan." A metaphorical choice indeed! Which brings to mind when thinking of your new chawan:

"Only thing
the thief left behind--
moon in my window."

(Ryokan)
The small Ryokan teapot arrived a while back. I'm very grateful to receive this new tea friend, though I have yet to drink tea from it; thus far I've only drank hot water brewed within the pot to taste its effect on different waters :

Debunix, to be honest, and I know your teaware collection is rich and full (congratulations on the new Corey piece as well), I was expecting to see a post by you availing the community of a new Petr piece. I really like this firing and the pieces Daniel selected: the diversity of effects/surfaces/shapes and presences within the displayed pieces is astounding to me, to bring so many "voices" to the teaware, each with its own unique beauty. In the end I left with on of Mirka's tea boats and a new pot. I've been waiting for the right tea boat of Mirka's to arise and today it was there: (http://www.darjeeling.cz/_files/image/2 ... CT9944.JPG). I also really appreciate this little pot and purchased it: (http://www.darjeeling.cz/_files/image/2 ... CT9863.JPG). I like the size and that it exists in a middle ground between a smooth surface and a more barky pieces, with a Bizen-like burn/effect but on a more gritty/granular surface in a 100ml size.

The barky piece is one of my favorite barky pieces of recent firings (http://www.darjeeling.cz/_files/image/2 ... CT9733.JPG). It's an exquisite piece and went up after I had already left home to tea Tai Chi class. I doubt it lingered there long; certainly it was gone by the time I returned.

Beautiful pieces!

Blessings!

I hadn't been checking in as often as usual on that site--just had a couple of deliveries from other places--so I missed the initial offerings. That boat is exceptionally cool. I'm going to need something to replace my last bamboo box that is falling apart, but I will probably go bamboo again for practicality at work. Sigh!
