Opinion/info on Kakien green macha

by Linty » Apr 5th, '14, 21:47

Hello, was visiting my local T&T and noticed in the tea aisle, bottom shelf, a macha named "Kakien green macha" on the shelf label, $7.77 for a bag about 6 inches by 2 inches wide.... I wish I had taken a photo of it, but their was no english on the bag, it looked like japanese. Has anybody encountered such a matcha? Seems really cheap..... Was also beside some low priced genmai in a green bag.

probably inferior product. Matcha would not be sold cheap.

Also it was beside a low price product like genmaicha, it's a clue.
