My inlaws suprised me with a tin of Chiyo Mukashi matcha. I want to open it up sooo bad, but I just opened up a tin of matcha a few days ago, and I will force myself to wait till I finish the first one. I will I will I will.
This may mean I have to drink 15 cups of matcha tomorrow. 15, that's doable.

Not much Super Bowl over here in old icy Norway
However, that does not mean that I don`t fill my cup with something nice. On Sundays I usually have a relaxing session opening with making the place spotless, lighting up some Japanese incense, putting on some nice relaxing music (today it was our very own jazz genius Jan Garbarek with the album In Praise of Dreams which is a mix of jazz and spiritual new age), then some tea. Today I opened with some Grand Oolong Top Fancy, which is a 70% oxidized Taiwanese oolong, Gong Fu Cha style. It is heavy on the woody notes but without the tanins often associated with them, it has a sweet overall taste and in the later infusions the sweetness becomes clearer and clearer and I got the taste of honey. After the 4th infusion the leaves really opened up releasing a very delicate floral smell from the brew which was there for the rest of the ceremony.
Later today I`m gonna enjoy some Tamaryokucha, gotta have my daily dose of green tea
Have a nice Super Bowl people!

Just finished breakfast which consisted of muffins & fresh fruit w/a pot of H&S Holiday tea combined w/vanilla. I've got sooo much tea I want to try but I'm trying to be good & finish what's already open first (feeling your pain, Space). So much tea, so little time...

I began my day with a bakery fresh bagel with a pot of peppermint tea. When ever I have tasted every tea in my tea cupboard at least twice I feel the need to buy more tea, although I have a nice varity anyway! Is this just me?

Rock on. I myself went through 40 grams of matcha in 6 days last week.
Let's get this party started

Starting the day with Adagio Vanilla black tea. Yum!
Just wanted to say what a great idea "TeaDay" is. Good way to get everyone involved, from experts to newbies.
I like the polls too, but I know it must be hard to think of a poll every day. Maybe a poll just once a week or even once a month would be just fine with me.
HAGD everyone!

I started the day with a cup of my Adagio blend--Zen and the Art of Moderating. I awoke to a heck of a lot of forum spam this morning and needed some calm.

You can bet this chic will be chuggin the tea all day...I got a new asamushi sencha from Ippodo yesterday as well...can't just let it sit there!!!
Hope everyone is having a fab teaday!

Right now, I'm starting on my second pot of tea, China Yunnan Harvest Time Golden from Uptom Tea Imports, which I believe they don't sell anymore

I need an option for all of the above in this poll. I started the day with iced blueberry black from Adagio (basically just trying to get rid of it and I can't stand it hot and I didn't want anything hot this morning). I am pretty sure I will have a soda later and maybe a beer and pizza for the game.

Woke up with some matcha this morning.
I've got work for the day where I'll be throwing powdered sencha into bottle after bottle of H2O.
Once I get home, I have two new gurichas to reflect on for the Review, as well as a roasted sencha Andy sent me.
What a TeaDay, eh??
