Didn't have the basket with me, so just the leaves this time! I did add some of the bamboo leaf the last time I had this tea which was nice :D

2004 DXS and 2004 YWZS both refreshed. delectable! followed by a youthful YW-taidi 2013, and polishing off the night with a 2013 YWMH gushu. off to bed!

2013 Spring Bangdong. From our local supplier here in Bangkok. 2nd day with this tea giving me many, many, brews. Gushu flavor is clear in the taste. Very smooth giving a thick mouthfeel. No roughness and giving a good feeling. Huigan is noticeable and some tingling on the tongue. Good tea and good value. :D

2000 Zhong Cha CNNP green mark, a small sample from Norbu. Sadly, this is the last of the sample. It starts out a earthy and mellow, a little muffled, and as infusions continue, sweet and spice come clearer, simultaneously. Lovely stuff.

Good morning from a cool Oregon. I am on my 6th infusion of Golden Superior Grade Pu Ehr. It still amazes me how that works. It's still flavorful and dark and getting sweeter. Tims Mom

2001 Xiaguan tie bing /frisbee. high quality but not ready to drink yet. The Ku wei is still very strong. It has a hint of an herbal flavor that I have only found one other time in the 70's grand yellow mark ( a very good sign). I think I will wait a few years before I brew this again.

Mystery 'Bo Nay Tea' again today. Still a comforting wedge of beeng left of this one, and like the wonderful CNNP green label from Norbu yesterday, this one is so lasting that it has occupied a lot of my 'tea day' for several days now...on day 3.

Really enjoyable tea. Smooth and very little remnants of humidity in the cup, despite traditional storage early in its tea life

I've just converted a friend from shu to sheng. Well, it's the tea that did it, Tea Urchin's Nahan 2013 Spring. I started with 2009 7572 because I thought that's what he wanted but when we switched to the Nahan I saw the light of comprehension come on and there's no turning back. Sadly, it was the last six grams of my 30-gram sample. The first session was bad because I totally brewed it wrong but the next three sessions were all memorable. And today reminded me that drinking with a good friend is so enjoyable after drinking alone for so many sessions in a row. He left happily tea drunk and I was feeling very good myself.

2007 Kou Liang Ba Da, from Jiangjiatang tea. Originally designed to be an every day drinker, I think this tea is more than that. 30-40 year old bushes, not gushu. 7 years storage in Jinghong gives a very smooth, clean flavor with a touch of sweetness. Somewhat thick soup giving a tingling tongue and lips. Flavor is there through many brews. What is most noticeable to me is the feeling from this tea. Very enjoyable and affordable, IMO. Way better than most plantation teas. No smoke or wetness.
