Those products with a line through them (like the 16oz Citron Green) -- does that mean you will you never offer a 16oz version? (Before you answer that and possibly break my heart, take into consideration: I'm functioning in an apartment that currently has no air conditioning. I'm thisclose to some kind of breaking point.)

Is this maybe just an instance of your being "in between stock"? 'Cause I'm also seeing that I can't purchase the Apricot Green in anything but a sample or 4oz size.

Are you mocking me? 4oz? Do you have any idea the quantities of this stuff I drink? And why does an apartment building choose JULY to begin building maintenance, effectively shutting off my airconditioning during one of the grossest, stickiest, nastiest heat waves to hit the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area?

hahahaa, poor guy. If u think DC is bad, try living in texas. Your "heat wave" is a regular occurance for us. and now we have to worry about flooding! As for your tea, maybe this is a sign to try new varieties. Nay, this is your OPPORTUNITY to try something new! I can understand the attachment to a tea, i drank the same (poor) jasmine for several years. It only took a visit to a tea shop with many free tastings for me to open my eyes.

Let me tackle all of your questions instead of limiting myself only to the tea one. I must confess that asside from selling top quality gourmet teas, Adagio has recently gotten into the building maintenance business as well. We choose July to begin all maintenance projects because the sweltering heat ensures maximum iced tea consumption.

Unfortunately, the construction side of the business is new for us, and we did not coordinate the citron tea supply very well. The good news is that we will be receiving a shipment of the new season's crop in the next few weeks, and you will once again be able to enjoy your favorite summertime beverage.

No worries... we are just temporarily too low on stock to offer bigger sizes-- our replenishment should be arriving soon, though.

As for the maintenance issues, I'd recommend a nice cool glass of iced Chamomile (we've got plenty in stock). It is sure to refresh and calm you down!

No joke: when I called to complain to my building's "business" office (I use the quotation marks of sarcasm and disbelief since I'm pretty sure pretending like you're playing solataire when really you're surfing porn at work is not what one should be doing in the business office. Unless, of course, your business is some kind of pornographic card manufacturer -- but really, that's besides the point...) about this no airconditioning in July business, the guy tried to make it sound like it was somehow solely my concern.

"Are you currently enjoying the cool refreshment of airconditioning in your office right now, Business Manager Don?"

"Could you maybe turn it off and spend the day sweating in places you never imagined and then explain to me why it won't be until mid-August before my unit will be functioning?"

All this, of course, has little to do with tea (except for the fact that, try as I might, I'm just not a fan of the Pekoe Green -- and I was drinking it during the phone altercation). And while I totally hear you, PeteVu, as far as seizing this opportunity to boldly drink something new -- I'm a guy whose had the same haircut for the past 20 years. I predicted the failure of New Coke. I just don't do well with change.

Totally sorry, though, about your being in Texas. I hear there are 49 other states not as awful as Texas one can move to.

Hmm, yeah the mid-Atlantic is pretty bleh in the height of summer. But hey, at least we get seasonal changes, right? Think of all the people in the South that don't ever get to see snow! Oh wait, we don't get snow either, just slush... teehee...

Joking aside, though, I'm sorry to hear about your AC issues. I had a similar problem though at the other temp extreme, when my roommate wouldn't turn the heat up enough to keep our room remotely warm in the middle of winter. I had to wear a sweatshirt to bed... Cos taking a cup of hot tea to bed isn't such a good idea. Can get the sheets kinda soggy... Not to mention it won't stay hot... Eww clammy tea-stained pillow... hahaha

i actually have never seen falling snow. I took a vacation to Washington once where i saw snow that had colected ontop of a mountain, but have never actually seen it snow. I felt practically sick when i went to new york in march because it was simply alot colder than i had ever had to dealt with several days in a row, and yet when its 105 degrees outside im well enough to mow the lawn or play a match of tennis. I guess it just proves im a Texan through and through ^^

We, here in the UK are forecast to have a significant snow fall this coming winter - which probably means 1cm - we do like to make a drama out of a crisis. Stock up with plenty of tea thats what I do - but then I would I sell the darn stuff
