Hiyas! I'm Cara from Mississippi. My friend Rob gave me a sampler set of teas a week ago, and I am loving them! He sent me here to read up about teas. I do have to say, I never realized there was so much to drinking tea! I've always liked some herbal teas (mainly peppermint), and sweet / iced teas. But unsweet tea? Heck, no!

Ah well. At least I have corrected such a shameful ignorance at a relatively young age. I do not have to go through life completely unaware of the wonderful teas out there.

Right now I am drinking my second cup of Jasmine #12 from Adagio. I love the aroma and I love the taste!

I can't wait to try out the rest.

Hi Cara! Welcome to teachat

I'm a bit of a newbie myself, too...there sure are a lot of teas, aren't there? If you're into mints, you might want to give adagio's "foxtrot" a try...it's chamomile and mint.

Great choice of Jasmine #12! It's my absolute favorite tea, hot or cold, slightly sweet. Sometimes I even add a pinch of mint leaves. And the leaves generally make 3 really good infusions.
Enjoy your new-found love of tea.
