Just wondering where everyone buys their green tea. Japanese or Chinese.

Japanese: Den's.

Chinese: Rishi. However, I haven't really been drinking much Chinese greens since I discovered Japanese types.

I've gotten japanese greens from Zencha and Ippodo and I have been very content with the ones I purchased. I'm currently waiting for some kuki cha from Zencha at the moment

Mainly, Thes du Japon and O-Cha. Not so frequently, Horaido and Yuuki-cha.

This year I bought all my Chinese green and white teas from Tea Trekker and was impressed with the quality and freshness. If you're in the US the shipping is fast and reasonable, and the quality is competitive with anything I've bought directly from China.

I would go elsewhere for Yancha. There are many discussions in the oolong section of the forum.

O-Cha for Japanese greens as they have unique Karigane blends and an excellent selection of gyokuros.

Gonna stick this question here:

I'm planning to grab a couple of things from hibiki-an. I want a tin of the premium matcha but to tip me over the free shipping threshold, I need another item.

I've got loads of sencha right now, so I'm avoiding even more sencha for the moment but can anyone recommend me another particularly good hibiki-an tea, please?

I've ordered a lot from Hibiki-an, and I've been satisfied with their Gyokuros. I would suggest the Kuradashi Gyokuro premium or their Gyokuro teabags as they are great for brewing green tea away from home.
