Happy 44th, Ian.

We will be sure to tip our cups to you today. Too bad we do not all have Temomi-Cha.

I just received an email from Ian's wife and wanted to share this part with you.
Hello,

We finally received the delayed report of diagnosis for Ian's death. He died of Ascud or Athrosclorotic cardiovascular disease. From what I understand it's a heart attack as a result of clogged arteries. I thought you’d want to know.

I wanted to thank you and all of Ian’s tea chat friends for the permanent placement of his obituary. That was very nice of everyone. I was upset I didn’t print out all of the comments online and I thought it was taken down from the website. I logged on and was so thrilled to see it was still there. THANK YOU!
<tips another cuppa sencha to Ian>

:(

Proof positive that tea drinking does not save you from diseases like this.

Chip and I with the help of Bill Perrine, after being asked by Iannon's wife, commissioned an Urn. We are giving the Teachat community an opportunity to help contribute towards the costs of the Urn for the lasting memory of Ian.

Oh no! I haven't been to TC in a while and come back to find this! How terrible, I feel so bad for his family, nobody should have to go through that. I know that his family family shared the same religious beliefs as myself which hopefully will give them a small bit of comfort knowing they'll see their father and husband again someday.

This is sad. I didn't know about Ian but I am sure he left many words on this forum and when we see his name again on any post here, we will remember him. I value every tea lovers here.

Bless his soul.
