FINALLY, TEA AGAIN!!! 4:30 and finally getting to my 2nd tea. I am drinking Yutaka Midori from Kagoshima. I said yesterday this one is finnicky, and it is proving its point right now, a little too astringent. Still very good.
The poll today is a little shocking in that greens are winning by a large margin and pu-erh has as many votes as oolong. Last time we voted on this around 7 months ago, here was our vote:
Black
29% [ 14 ]
Oolong
27% [ 13 ]
Green
25% [ 12 ]
White
4% [ 2 ]
Pu-erh
8% [ 4 ]
Rooibos
0% [ 0 ]
Herbal
2% [ 1 ]
Other
2% [ 1 ]

Well, the day isn't over yet. Maybe all those black and oolong tea drinkers are night owls-- it makes sense that they'd need a bit more caffeine to get them going in the morning.

Dudes, what's up? It's winter-- green tea should be gone by now! Oolong and puerh age well, drink them instead!

Ah, but the season of the tea does not change what your favorite type is. Someones favorite could easily be green, but not drinking any at the moment.

My first tea today was English Breakfast tea which is extremly different from the Irish Breakfast. Second, I had iced Foxtrot, yummy!

My favourite tea for today is black - Lapsang souchong for breakfast, lapsang souchong at work. Maybe now some sencha as my (unlined) tetsubin arrived today.

I am drinking a regional green from Nara, which I drink every day. When it is finished (tonight) I will start on an Uji green, I don't know what kind, as the envelope only has the name of the farm written on it.

...showoff... : P
Photo, congrats on your tetsubin KETTLE!!!
There is a lot of jealousy going on here right now!!!
Going to make a cup of everyday matcha. It is good, but light, perhaps more approachable than the higher grades. But I do like it, and I can approach it very casually.
WOW, black tea is trying to make a comeback!

I'm going to hid in a corner with my Valentines tea and possibly bang my head against the wall because of tea ignorant I am. If you read my tea review blog you'll see why.

Drinking Ali Shan today.
Li Shan traditional style Da Yu Ling Gao Shan Cha is my favorite hands down, unless I'm having a really good Bazhong, which always temporarily persuades me.
