Helloooo from California
Hi
I actually signed up a while ago, but never saw this category to post under. So I figured a late introduction is better than none.
I'm from California, more specifically the Central Coast. I've been a tea drinker for most of my life, but only recently has it come into the prime time for me. I used to drink primarily soda or coffee. The area of tea that I drink the most of is Japanese Green teas, more specifically senchas and gyokuros are my primary beverages, but I am branching out more and more.
I've got a blog as well, i've posted it in the blog section, but here it is anyway:

Um, i'm not sure what else to say, but hi and I love tea.

Welcome! I'm from Southern CA, Orange County area.
Oolongs are my thing, but I drink a lot of blacks too and some whites. I am just starting to venture into greens. I'll be checking out your blog!

Welcome Pentox...I liked your review of the Teavana Sencha.
Always good to have another Japanese tea fan (or so it seems) on TeaChat. I saw you found TeaDay, thanx for jumping into the discussion there.
Hope to see you around TeaChat for many years.

Hey Pentox, it's Brent. You know, the guy who left the rude comment on your blog.
I'm from Los Altos (I usually say Palo Alto, but since you're nearby you probably know where I'm talking about)– represent!

Hahaha, so you're the one. I agree though, it was poorly worded, I actually just finished revising it with citation.

Hahaha, i'm glad you liked the post, I find it amusing that you found the one tea to get a rating of 1/10 so far.

Don't even bother asking for them to prepare gyokuro for you at a Teavana store. When I did, they used boiling water!
[Mary's Edit: They did for me too!!!]

Somehow your screen name (tsuki K.O.) reminded me about this funny kendo clip:
