With a goatee, people think I'm older than I am. Without, they can't tell whether I'm 22 or 32.

This morning I drank my first cup of adagio's genmai cha. I liked it! Now I am on my second cup of republic of tea's bagged rooibos good hope vanilla and I am really enjoying that. (I think this unopened tin must be over a year old...)

Tomorrow morning I may try adagio's kukicha.

I am 38 but look, feel (and act!) much younger. I wish I got into teas decades ago!

By noon I was sipping reliable Oolong #40. But tonight it's trying to snow and the wind is up -- somehow organic Kyoto Cherry Rose was what sounded good. I bought it in a local tea shop, but I think it comes fom Enjoying Tea. An enjoyable tea, but not my favorite, so I'll keep looking. I've been looking around O-cha's site for a while, but haven't yet ventured. Soon!

Hey, if you can't share your age w/a bunch of on-line strangers, who can ya share it with?! To me, it's been interesting to see the demographics & like others, I'm jealous that I didn't discover tea years ago.

Hehe. I'm going to throw you guys off the charts with my age, 16 (17 in April). I think I'm the youngest tea drinker here . Will someone step up and prove me wrong? I'm so lucky that good tea has found its way into my hands, mouth? or would it be pallet? at such a young age.
Anyway, my list of teas that I've had today are, in order from morning to now, Irish Breakfast, Peppermint, iced Russian Caravan, and Foxtrot. I think I found my ideal way of drinking Foxtrot; double the teaspoons and add honey.

Finishing my TeaDay with Karigane Gyokuro, 4 teas today, a better than average TeaDay for me. Love this Karigane, flavorful, yet has a light sweetness that is sooo refreshing. A great tea for evening since it is lower caffeine than tea leaf, this is the veins and stems of leaf used to make gyokuro, so it is also rich in the early steeps.

I think I found my ideal way of drinking Foxtrot; double the teaspoons and add honey.

A fifteen minute steep with a squirt of honey makes a really good tasting tasting mug of foxtrot. I've been drinking it like that the past few days and love it. I even had some today for my late class. Though I also had a thermos of green anji with me too. I have found that two travel mugs of tea make the late class better. Right now, I am on the second steep of the green anji. Who knows what else I will end up with in the next 2 or 3 hours before I sleep?
