New tea lover from California :)
I found this forum through a google search to see if tea was edible or not. I am a 17 year old female from CA, USA who has recently discovered how GOOD tea is. As a little kid, I detested it. My new found love for tea started with me wanting something warm and being sick of coffee and hot cocoa and finding some orange pekoe in the pantry. From black teas I moved to green and just recently discoverd white peony, which I LOVE so much. I want to try Silver Tip White Tea when I can get ahold of it. I also love herbal chinese teas and chamomile blends. Now my pantry is full of tea

Welcome! There are a few other Californians (I'm from the Palo Alto area) on here, but it's always nice to see another. This is a great place for tea enthusiasts-- if you have any questions, please ask, either in the forum or in the chat!

Welcome Tealicious!!! Congrats on your enthusiasm for the brewed leaf that is TEA.
I see you found TeaDay!!! Make sure you stop by often and share your cup with everyone. While you are there, of course, participate in the daily discussion.
Of course, all of TeaChat is full is full of sooo much info on tea. Have fun, and again, welcome.

Psh, Monterey is to SF what SB is to LA. San Luis Obispo, now we're right in the middle. j/k I find it funny to promote a city I don't particularly love.
I'm actually surprised to see how many of the people in teachat are CC'ers.

Sadly its undeclared. Although I was thinking of CalPoly for Architecture, but the campus, although beautiful, is a bit too secluded for me. Anyway, thank you everyone for the warm welcome
