A dolop of honey, preferably my uncles special wisconsin orchard blend that I'm lucky enough to get a jar of every christmas.
I grow fresh mint for tea as well, nothing is better with a touch of lemon and honey. I'm really looking forward to my garden this year, I was on vacation for a month last summer so didn't put one in.

Yay for apiarist uncles!Cinnamonkitty wrote:Peppermint tea with honey has always been one of my favorites. My uncle has an apiary (bee farm) so I get fresh honey from him. The store honeys just ruin the taste for me though.

OKAY folks, I am wearing the moderator's hat here!!!
Knowing the peeps who were involved here, I am sure everyone was just joking around.
Remember this is a public forum, and everyone is entitled to an opinion. The initial question was "what do you like to add to it?" Sky just added a clever spin to it that was not anticipated. She and Tenuki both have a very dry sense of humor that is actually very funny if you read many of their posts. I am certain both Tenuki and Sky were joking.
To the thread author, there are some pretty funny TeaChatters out there, and you will learn to roll with them a little. Unfortunately, you do not yet know the posters very well yet, so it is hard to 'hear' their voices.
Let's all try and grin and bear it folks.
By the way, today, there are 1227 actively posting members currently on the site, which is around 3-400 more than there were 6 months ago.
