Hello from an eclectic tea lover in NY

Hello, everyone!

I've been a tea drinker for much of my adult life, but I recently decided to drink my tea more mindfully, focusing on the flavor and the joy of the experience.

My tastes in tea and teaware are eclectic. I use a Japanese iron teapot but English teacups. I drink more tisanes than teas, but enjoy the occasional white or jasmine oolong. I am not a purist (nor a puerh-ist).
