Hi! I was gifted several sachets of tea that I can’t identify. I’ve attached a picture of them:
Any idea what they might be?
Thanks!
Re: Tea ID?
The brown bag is oolong from mainland China(probably Tie Kuan Yin), the silver one is Taiwan tea but it doesn't say what kind.
Re: Tea ID?
The silver one use Simplified Chinese, but Taiwan use Traditional Chinese.I don't think either of them is Taiwan tea.
Re: Tea ID?
Hmmm well it just literally says 'Taiwan Tea'. Could be a chinese seller selling taiwanese teas (which usually generally refers to greener, more floral oolongs). Or could be a taiwanese seller who just bought the tea packaging off the shelf. But I don't think where the seller is actually matters. Just what the content of the packet is haha.youchenhe wrote: The silver one use Simplified Chinese, but Taiwan use Traditional Chinese.I don't think either of them is Taiwan tea.
Re: Tea ID?
Well,I think this kind of packing must be bead-shaped Baochong tea(A kind of kind of oolong tea "半球型包種茶")or Tieguanyin Tea(or Tieguanyin oolong Tea(鐵觀音烏龍茶).But it could be black tea,if he had the kneading process.
As for the varieties, they may have be opened.
