April 17th Discussion

by Bridgette » Apr 17th, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Hunan Gold!

It has soft, airy notes and a dry, crisp, fruity character reminiscent of a well-made tippy Darjeeling, but a bit more mellow. Lingering floral notes whisper in the finish.

Tell us what you think!

What a delight today's tea was for me! I did oversteep it /a bit/, but I have a high tolerance for bitterness in tea. I will put this one on my list to buy now and again.

Fora green tea, which I do not usually like, I enjoyed this one . It is very light and I found I had to steep it for 5-10 minutes to bring out the flavor. I would enjoy it again but would not buy it for myself .
